Clássico balé Giselle chega ao Teatro Municipal

A história de uma jovem campesina que vive feliz até se apaixonar por um conde que, encantado por ela, decide se passar por um simples lenhador para conquistá-la. Quando o impostor é desmascarado, a garota, que tem namorado, enlouquece de tristeza e morre de amor.
Assim é Giselle, o último balé romântico, um dos maiores clássicos da dança, interpretado por umas das mais respeitadas companhias do mundo: a do Teatro Scala de Milão.
Em sua terceira turnê (1983 e 2004) pelo País, desta vez com o russo Makhar Vaziev à frente da direção artística, a trupe mais célebre do teatro musical do mundo acrescenta dois novos destinos às suas apresentações, Belo Horizonte e Goiânia, e traz no elenco bailarinos consagrados, como Marta Romagna, Petra Conti e Eris Nezha.
“Estamos muito felizes com esta nova etapa. Além de levar o balé a novas cidades, é uma bela forma de quem gosta ter a oportunidade de ver ao vivo. E quem não conhece, tomar gosto”, comentou Vaziev sobre a turnê que chega hoje a São Paulo, no palco do Teatro Municipal.
Seria esta a forma de dar continuidade a uma arte que tem fama de não conquistar tão facilmente as novas gerações? “Seria e é. O balé é uma arte eterna e atemporal. Não faço, aliás, distinção entre o clássico e o contemporâneo. São duas formas de se fazer a mesma arte.
A diferença é que o clássico nos exige mais disciplina formal”, acrescenta o diretor e bailarino que iniciou a carreira em 1979, no Ballet Kirov, em que foi solista e primeiro-bailarino nos anos 80.
Antes de assumir a direção do Scala, Vaziev foi, de 1995 a 2008, diretor do Kirov no Teatro Maryinsky em São Petersburgo.
Durante os 13 anos em que comandou a companhia russa, Vaziev estabeleceu diálogo com grandes nomes do balé contemporâneo e com diversos dos maiores coreógrafos do século 20, como Hans van Manen, George Balanchine, John Neumeier, William Forsythe, entre outros.
“A responsabilidade de estar à frente de companhias que fazem parte da história do balé é imensa. Mais que preservar o passado e mantê-lo vivo, precisamos manter a comunicação, a contaminação e a colaboração com o presente e seus artistas”, comenta o diretor que em 2002 foi nomeado Artista Honorífico da Rússia e recebeu o prêmio Spirit of Dance na categoria.
Esta capacidade de unir o clássico ao contemporâneo em uma linha tênue e orgânica faz com que Vaziev seja do tipo que acredita que mais até que arte, o balé deveria ser praticado por todos e que nunca é tarde para aprendê-lo.
“Não importa se você já não é mais adolescente ou se nunca vai ser profissional. O que importa é a dança. Assim como na companhia, tanto ou mais que o peso histórico que um teatro como o Scala tem, o importante é trabalharmos em equipe, fortalecendo o equilíbrio”, filosofa um sempre apaixonado Vaziev, fazendo jus a grandes coaches olímpicos de sua Rússia natal.
Se com esta passagem pelo Brasil Vaziev e sua trupe conseguirem encantar um pouco mais os já seduzidos pelo balé e arregimentar novos fãs, seu dever estará cumprido.
