Brasil eleva rigor com turistas espanhóis

O Brasil passará a adotar exigências mais duras para a entrada de turistas espanhóis no País, usado o princípio da reciprocidade. A partir do dia 2 de abril, os visitantes da Espanha que desembarcarem aqui terão de apresentar comprovantes para reservas de hotéis, passagens de ida e volta e provar possuir recursos para se manter no Brasil durante a estada.
Serão necessários pelo menos R$ 170 por dia por pessoa, o equivalente a cerca de 80 euros. A comprovação poderá ser feita por meio de cartão de crédito internacional, desde que o titular apresente fatura em que conste o limite permitido de gasto.
As exigências são as mesmas feitas pela Espanha para os brasileiros que viajam ao país. Incluem, ainda, um passaporte com pelo menos seis meses de validade. Aqueles que não planejam se hospedar em hotéis terão de apresentar uma carta-convite da pessoa que os receberá, com assinatura registrada em cartório e um comprovante de residência.
A decisão foi tomada pelo Itamaraty depois de uma série de negociações frustradas para tentar diminuir as dificuldades enfrentadas pelos brasileiros que chegam à Espanha. Desde 2008, o Brasil é o país com maior número de cidadãos barrados nos aeroportos espanhóis.
