Mano vai convocar craques do Santos

Em conversa por telefone com Mano Menezes, quinta-feira passada, Luís Álvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro, presidente do Santos, soube com antecedência que Neymar, Paulo Henrique Ganso e Elano estarão na relação dos jogadores que participarão do amistoso do Brasil contra a Alemanha – a convocação sai hoje – dia 10 de agosto, em Stuttgart.
O presidente aceitou as ponderações do treinador de que o jogo passou a ter grande importância para a recuperação do amor próprio dos jogadores e da torcida, além do prestígio da Seleção, após a desclassificação, diante do fraco Paraguai, nas quartas de final da Copa América. “Não é o caso de pedir dispensa”, concordou o presidente.
Só que, como Muricy, Luís Álvaro não quer enfrentar o Corinthians sem Neymar. Ganso e Elano fazem falta, mas bem menos. No ano passado, o presidente preferiu mandar embora o criador do Santos das goleadas, Dorival Júnior, para não ficar sem Neymar (havia sido punido com suspensão pelo treinador) contra o arquirrival.
Pedido à CBF
Se o pedido de adiamento do jogo contra o Corinthians ainda não tiver a resposta da CBF hoje, Luís Álvaro promete recorrer ao presidente da CBF, Ricardo Teixeira, que, segundo ele, tem tratado bem o Santos.
Neymar volta a treinar hoje às 16h. Depois mais de um mês longe do clube em razão da participação na Copa América, na Argentina, e da semana de folga que recebeu de Muricy Ramalho, para se recuperar emocionalmente do fracasso brasileiro na Argentina, o garoto volta a treinar no CT Rei Pelé.
Com ele, o Santos, que se arrasta no Brasileirão, voltará a ser forte, respeitado, e até favorito contra o Flamengo, na quarta-feira à noite, na Vila Belmiro.
Mesmo ausente, Neymar foi assunto predominante no cotidiano santista. O presidente Luís Álvaro se desdobra para manter o mais badalado dos atacantes brasileiros no País. Promete até ir à Brasília conversar com a presidente da República, Dilma Rousseff, para conseguir que uma estatal patrocine o astro de 19 anos, tornando possível a sua permanência no País até a Copa do Mundo de 2014.
“Há seis meses me encontrei com a presidente e falamos sobre futebol feminino. É uma pessoa encantadora, muito simpática. Quero que ela me ajude. O governo tem empresas que fazem grandes investimentos no esporte. Voleibol, por exemplo, tem o Banco do Brasil como seu principal patrocinador” afirmou o dirigente, em entrevista publicada na edição de ontem o diário esportivo AS, da Espanha.
E completou: No futsal, nosso melhor jogador, Falcão, também é patrocinado pelo Banco do Brasil. Há muito que se falar, por causa da Copa do Mundo de 2014, para manter os nossos melhores jogadores aqui”.
O presidente sabe que o Real Madrid vai fazer de tudo para fechar um acordo com Neymar.
